Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Items upgrades are upgrade components which can be added to weapons, armors and trinkets in order to earn a bonus. They usually have more cost and require that the item be at an appropriate level.
Items that have extremely high requirements generally don't see much value in being upgraded. This is especially true for items that don't roll a lot of variance like Eth titans.
Glyphs
Once you reach level 50, Blizzard’s action-RPG shifts from its streamlined campaign to the endgame. The game's mechanics start to change, with players pushed into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and brand new grinds to ensure that their character's build is as strong as possible.
Glyphs play a key role in this progression. A higher upgrade level for a Glyph increases its stat attributes and the radius of its effect on the Paragon Board. There are a variety of methods to obtain these upgrades, however most players will find themselves relying on the primary method of raiding Faction Crypts.

Glyphs lets you add symbols to your text. You can select them from the menu to the left of the screen. It initially displays glyphs in the font where your cursor is located, but you can view the font in a different style or style, and reduce the number of glyphs to a smaller subset by selecting an option from the options below Entire Font (for instance Punctuation shows only punctuation symbols). When you move your cursor over any glyph, you'll be able to see its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tooltip.
The Glyphs Panel will keep the track of your last 35 glyphs and display them under Recently Used in the first row (you must expand the panel in order that you can see all 35). You can also remove any glyph that is not listed by pressing it with the right-click or Control-click and selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
The Glyphs Panel also lets you to design a custom set of glyphs. This is useful if often need to type certain text types. This will save you the hassle of manually inserting each glyph every time you require it.
A custom glyph set may comprise up to 31 glyphs, including the base name as well as its suffix. The base name must include uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) as well as lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9), underscore (_) and other glyphs. The suffix may include ligatures or contextual alternatives. These are special variants which combine two or more letters into one glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the main mechanics that provide extra bonuses to items, such stats. They come in types: rerolls, level up and recycle. Each upgrade type comes with a unique bonus on an item.
Reroll Tokens allow players to change the base power of an item and the number of upgrades it has and are also used to reroll ring substats. This can be us eful if an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is lower than the player's expectations, or if the item's current substats are not ideal.
Rerolling an item costs 1 token. It will reset the upgrades, but keep the set, rarity and level unaffected. As an item is leveled up, its tier rises. The primary stat of the item is boosted by 3 points for each level. A random extra stat will be boosted along with it. The tier of an item increases by 1 each time you level an item to its highest achievable level.
The Blueprint Desk allows players to buy new Appliances, Ingredients and decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Grab. Each blueprint comes with its own icon, and each type of upgradeable item displays a different icon:
Selecting a franchise card from the Blueprint Desk will allow you to acquire certain equipment or ingredients needed for some recipes. Certain appliances and ingredients are considered to be staples which means they will never be available at the Shop or through a reroll, while others have a higher chance of being available if a particular Franchise Card is selected from the Blueprint Desk. This is known as the Staple Pool, and the items contained in it will remain in the pool for the rest of the run. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The magic happens with the third "R," recycling. When you recycle a product made from recycled materials you're not only helping the environment, but also giving the item a new life. Most recycled items are sent back to the manufacturer from which they came to be remade into an entirely new product. We call this "closing of the recycling loop."
If someone places something in their recycling bins at the curb, it is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorting. From there it can be offered to manufacturers at the end of the line to make something completely new. Remade products include:
This process reduces the need to harvest, grow or extract raw materials to create something other than. This helps reduce the harm done to nature. Less trees are chopped down and rivers are diverted and wild animals are relocated. This also reduces pollution by the dumping of raw materials into our water, soil and air.
Additionally buying recycled products can help keep local jobs and businesses in business, particularly those that specialize in manufacturing products from recycled materials. Demand for recycled products makes companies more inclined to take part in this environmentally friendly effort.
The final reason to buy recycled products is that it requires less energy to produce new products using recycled materials than to make them from raw materials. The manufacturing process for an aluminum container that is new requires 95% more energy than the process of making an aluminum can made from recycled material. This is why every bit is important.
Leveling
Most units are able to level-up, giving them extra XP every time they attack or get attacked. This is used to boost their primary stats or unlock additional upgrades in the unit's tree. Weapons are an excellent example of this, since they can be upgraded by increasing their damage and range.
Most leveling systems require a specific amount of levels to be completed however this can vary from game to game. Leveling is accomplished through the use of materials or coins. The majority of systems utilize both, but some only make use of one.
In many games, leveling up can be a problem because it makes certain units too powerful and other units are unable be competitive. It is recommended to limit the amount of leveling that a player can perform, requiring players to make a decision on what they wish to upgrade and the reason for it.
